Red Roof consistently outperforms the economy segment in the US market, which is due in part to Red Roof’s total focus on a single brand. This focus results in high levels of guest satisfaction, robust sales and marketing efforts including the RediCard® loyalty program, and an impressive 60% brand contribution. Based on data from Smith Travel Research, a sample of 300+ US locations which were open for two years or more has shown Red Roof had an Occupancy Index of 113.7%, an ADR (Average Daily Rate) Index of 114.5%, and a RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) Index of 130.3%.
With nearly 400 locations in the United States, Red Roof is poised for rapid growth in Canada’s under-represented economy hotel segment under a preferred development agreement with Glenn Squires. Four Atlantic Canadian sites have been confirmed, with locations in New Minas/Wolfville and Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and Grand-Falls Windsor and Bay Roberts, in Newfoundland and Labrador. Mapping of sites is underway across Canada, with ideal target sites located in rural areas with sound demand generators including a university campus, proximity to a business or industrial park and excellent highway visibility.
All systems are in place to provide a turnkey hotel. Investors may partner with Glenn Squires to gain direct access to Caboteer's contracted partner Pacrim Hospitality Services Inc. and their team of hotel development professionals. Pacrim has a long-standing track record in developing and operating hotels.
